Care Guide

Care Guide

Mya pieces are designed to be worn, loved, and lived in. With a little care, your jewelry can remain beautiful for years to come.

EVERYDAY Wear

Fine jewelry is made to be enjoyed, but even precious metals and gemstones can show signs of wear over time.

We recommend removing your jewelry during activities that may expose it to impact, pressure, or abrasion, including exercise, heavy lifting, household cleaning, and other hands-on activities.

Put your jewelry on after applying perfume, lotions, makeup, hairspray, and other beauty products to minimize exposure to chemicals and residue.

CLEANING

For most gold and diamond jewelry, gently clean your piece using warm water, mild soap, and a very soft brush. Rinse carefully and dry thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Certain gemstones require more delicate care and may not be suitable for traditional at-home cleaning methods. If you are unsure how to clean a particular piece, please contact us before cleaning it.

Avoid exposing your jewelry to harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaning products.

STORAGE

Store your jewelry in a clean, dry place and keep individual pieces separated whenever possible.

Diamonds, gemstones, and metal surfaces can scratch one another when stored together, so we recommend keeping each piece in its original Noy Tawil packaging or in a separate compartment of your jewelry box.

Chains should be stored carefully to help prevent tangling.

PROFESSIONAL CARE

Over time, settings, clasps, and other components may naturally require maintenance.

We recommend having frequently worn pieces professionally inspected periodically, particularly rings, bracelets, and pieces with delicate stone settings.
